An indispensable saw for fine woodworkers, furniture builders, boat repairs, crafts, wood modelmaking, this saw has the thinnest blade (0.017" kerf). The spine of the saw keeps the blade straight and stable. This combination yields the finest cuts in a variety of woods of any saw we offer. This very flexible saw excels at flush-cutting of dowels and plugs. It's also ideal for cutting precision joinery such as dovetails and mitering small molding. A good, all-around saw to keep in the shop and an extra one in your toolbox.
SharkSaw hand saws feature innovative Japanese design and technology. Unlike traditional western-style saws, Shark Saws cut on the pull stroke for better control and finer cuts. Every aspect of the design was created to ensure maximum performance with minimal fatigue.
To use a SharkSaw, place the teeth on the workpiece then very lightly draw the blade toward you. The weight of the saw will do the work. After one stroke, simply push the saw back and repeat. With a little practice, you'll be making precise cuts in no time.
