Drilling accurate hinge-screw pilot holes is not an easy task. More often than not the holes are off center and the screws go in crooked. These Snappy self-centering bits eliminate this problem. They feature a conical nose-piece that guides the drill to make a perfectly centered piiot hole. If the nose-piece becomes clogged with wood shavings simply loosen the bit casing by hand and the clogged shavings will come out.
