A favorite vise of guitar makers, gunsmiths, and anyone that needs to work at different angles, the Parrot Vise is designed to be easily positioned and rotated in any direction. The Parrot Vise features a unique two-piece construction with a separate head and base. The base mounts easily to any work surface via three screws and has a central post on which the head mounts.

The head can be mounted in three positions; in a traditional vertical orientation or horizontally either to the right or left. In all three configurations, the head can rotate a full 360° around the base. And when clamping force is applied to your workpiece, the vise automatically locks so you can work without it rotating out of position. This handy feature makes adjusting your workpiece and the vise quick and efficient.

The Vise includes 3 pairs of magnetic jaw covers that stick to any iron or steel surface so they won’t move or fall off. The first pair has ribbed rubber faces to protect your workpiece from damage, the second pair has fine serrations providing excellent grip on flat stock and the third pair features a prism texture specifically designed to hold round material securely in either a vertical or horizontal configuration.
