Moisture Can Ruin Your Next Project - Prevent The Heartache With Our Moisture Meter
The Problem…
If your raw lumber does not contain the correct moisture content your finished project will likely shrink and warp over time, ruing your hard work and causing endless frustration. This problem becomes more evident when the raw material you use has a moisture content which deviates substantially from other 'normalized' projects in your home. Since moisture content in wood can vary over 50% depending on your climate zone it's not a good idea to leave your raw stock's moisture content to chance.
The Solution….
Using a high quality moisture meter will enable you to select the right lumber for your projects – saving you time, money and agrevation. The trick is to accurately match the moisture content of your current furniture and then use raw lumber with the same or similair moisture content for your new projects. To determine the ideal moisture content of your raw material use our accurate moisture meter and you'll quickly know the exact moisture content before tackling your project.
The Right Tool….
The rugged, compact mini-Ligno E/D moisture meter is easy to use: remove the protective cap and push the pins into a piece of wood. The meter turns itself on automatically and the bright LEDs instantly show you the wood’s moisture content.
