They are ideal for scuffing all metals, primer, paint, fiberglass and they're great on wood surfaces. As the Scuff Ball slowly wears down, a self renewing surface provides consistent scuffing performance for the life of the ball. They do not overheat, resist clogging and provide a smooth clean finish with no burning. Fits any drill or grinder. Our 4" diameter scuff balls are rated at 5,000 RPM but they work well at slower speeds.
