Our 22.5 deg matched Lock Miter router bit set allows you to build 8-sided cabinetry in 3/8" to 3/4" stock. This factory ground and matched router bit set makes this type of joint quick and accurate to mill. We design the bits with a specially engineered shear angle that allows them to produce a clean edge, free of tear-out and burn marks commonly experienced with inferior quality bits. Often compared to the 45 deg lock miter bits because of their versatility, one advantage these 22.5 deg bits enjoy over their 45 deg Lock Miter cousins is that they are relatively easy to setup. To make it even easier, you can use our new set-up block for 3/4" stock below (SET-507) or by a fairly simple set-up that we explain in our blog post here.
