Dust Collector Comes On When Your Power Tool Does - Now That's An Idea!
The iVAC (intelligent vacuum switch box) makes efficient shop dust collection as easy as turning on your power tools. If you plug your vacuum system into a simple power strip you're going to have to switch it on & off independently from your power tools. This can be a dangerous distraction and if you're like us, we tend to not use our shop vacuum system if we're only making a few small cuts because of the hassle of turning the dust collector on and off. The iVAC solves this problem because in the "auto" mode it automatically switches your plug-in vacuum system ON when you turn on your power tool and switches it OFF six seconds after you turn your tool off. The mode switch also allows for the DCS (dust collection system) to be permanently OFF or ON for easy and convenient clean-up at the end of the job.
The iVAC features the following;
'Turn On' delay of .5 to 2.0 seconds helps avoid power surges from simultaneous power-up of Dust Collection and Power Tools.
'Turn Off' delay of 6 seconds ensures that your work area continues to be cleared of airborne debris after the tool has stopped.
Three position mode switch, Auto - Off - On.
Two input power cords for situations where more than standard 15Amp power is needed. Both cords protected by 15Amp breakers
iVAC can easily be wall mounted for greatest convenience.
Conforms to UL STD 244A & CSA STDC22.2 standards for safety.
