These new Milescraft work holders are a woodworker's dream come true. Made from a special foam impregnated non-slip skin, these weighty pads will hold your workpiece steady without having to use clamps. They'll allow you to route, sand, drill, carve and paint with confidence, insuring that your workpiece will not move. When on their flat side, TriGrips™ holds your work piece 1 3/16” above the bench top. When set on edge, TriGrips™ raise the work piece a full 3" above the bench. When in their vertical position, gravity fed internal ballast flows to the base of the unit which provides stable footing. TriGrips™ can also be used as support for non-woodworking tasks such as beneath a computer keyboard.

  • Non-slip surface holds your material in place without clamping
  • Perfect for routing, sanding, painting, drilling, carving and much more

Frequently Asked Questions

How many work supports come in a pack?

Each pack contains four (4) TriGrips, enough to support a workpiece at multiple points for stable, clamp-free holding.

How high do TriGrips raise my workpiece?

On their flat side they hold the workpiece 1-3/16" above the benchtop; set on edge they raise it a full 3" above the bench for extra clearance.

Do they really hold work without clamps?

Yes. The foam-impregnated non-slip skin and weighty design grip your material so it stays put for routing, sanding, drilling, carving, and painting, no clamps required.

What makes them stable when standing on edge?

In the vertical position, gravity-fed internal ballast flows to the base of each unit, which provides stable footing so the support stays planted.

What tasks are TriGrips good for?

They are ideal for routing, sanding, painting, drilling, and carving. Pair them with router jigs & guides for steady template routing.

What are they made of?

They are made from a special foam-impregnated non-slip skin with a dense, rock-solid construction and internal ballast for weight and grip.

Can I use them for non-woodworking tasks?

Yes. TriGrips can also be used as support for non-woodworking tasks, such as placing them beneath a computer keyboard.

Will they hold delicate or finished surfaces?

Their non-slip foam skin grips without clamping pressure, which makes them useful when you want to hold a workpiece securely while painting or finishing.

Do I still need clamps if I have these?

For many routing, sanding, and finishing jobs they replace clamps, but for heavier holding you may still want traditional clamping tools.

Who makes TriGrips?

They are made by Milescraft as non-slip work supports designed to keep your workpiece from slipping during a wide range of shop tasks.
