One stop has a traditional straight body and the other has a curved "pork chop" body. The straight stop includes an extension arm, while the curved stop lets you slide stock underneath it.

The curved "pork chop" stop lets you slide a workpiece up to 7/8" thick underneath without lifting the stop out of the way.

When you slide the workpiece out from under the curved stop, it falls back into place. This lets you use both stops on the same side of the blade for multi-cut operations.
