The Perfect Thin Kerf Blade for Any Table Saw
Most woodworkers we know would love to have one saw blade that performs when either crosscutting or ripping in a wide range of wood species and man-made materials. We've designed our new Super-General T.K. blade to perform supremely well in hardwoods, softwoods, veneered plywoods and even plastics. This blade will produce a glass-like finish with splinter-free performance and leave virtually no saw marks in its wake.
Features Include:
-
Cutting Edge Materials - Hand selected for their high tensile strength and prolonged durability in the most demanding cutting applications, our hot-rolled steel and C4 sub-micron carbide teeth are second to none.
-
Advanced Manufacturing & Design - The teeth of the Super General feature a 30° alternate top bevel which allows the Super General to slice cleanly through both cross-grain cuts and rip cuts.
-
Easy On The Ears - Laser-cut dampening slots absorb vibration before it reaches the teeth of the blade, reducing the noise output dramatically when compared to other saw blades. In a test performed by Wood Magazine, the Super General ranked second most quite against 28 competitors. Read the article linked in our Documentation Tab above.
-
Chrome Armor Coating - We have recently improved the quality of the coating on our premium Infinity Tools brand of saw blades. No longer just Nickel coated, we now apply an additional Chrome coating on top of the Nickel. Chrome is known to be a harder surface treatment which has a higher lubricity factor than Nickel. It also has better wear characteristics and will resist discoloration and tarnishing. This improvement makes Infinity Tools saw blades perform better, makes them easier to maintain and will help keep your blades looking new for longer.
A Note On Sharpening
The Super General has a tooth geometry specifically designed to be face-ground only. Any good and reputable sharpening shop with simple equipment can easily recondition your blades without the need for sophisticated machinery. As the carbide teeth are face-ground, the small flats on the tooth sides will be reduced over time, as will the clearance between tip and plate. A smaller tip-to-plate clearance increases quality of finish and cut resulting in top performance throughout the life of the blade.
