Our new precision squares are perfect for most tasks in your woodworking shop, from machine maintenance to perfect layout and stock preparation.
Our new line of precision measuring tools is accurate and versatile while being easy to use and extremely durable. Don't dismiss these tools as 'old school', they're essential for proper project layout and very useful for maintenance of the many tools in your shop.
Unlike products made from inferior quality materials, all of our measuring tools are made from high-quality hardened stainless steel blades that feature a satin chrome finish for easy reading. All of our blades are machined and the hard etched markings are very clear and easy to read. Our square heads are forged from cast-iron, making them more durable than standard metal heads.
The 4" and 6" double squares as well as the 6" and 12" combination squares each have 3/32" thick blades that makes them stiffer and more durable than the more common 5/64" thick blades. Designed specifically for woodworking, each uses an R4 graduation with 1/8" & 1/16" on one side and 1/32" & 1/64" on the other. The three and four piece sets include a 45° center head that is used for locating and then marking the center of round objects, a feature that is very handy for wood turners. The four piece set adds a very versatile 0° to 180° protractor with 1° graduations and a level. These tools are not only perfect for setting up your table saw, band saw, router table, jointer and most other machines but you can use the combination heads for perfect for 45° miter and 90° crosscuts.
The Bevel & Center Finding Rule measures 12" long by 3" wide. This great shop helper is double sided. One side will find the center on material up to 12" and is graduated in 1/16" and 1/32" increments while the other side is a bevel gauge with markings from 0° to 50°. The 170° Protractor features a 1° graduating scale and can rotate from 10° through a full 170° with a locking nut to secure your reading once set.
