Our new 9-pc. Straight Router Bit Survival Set may be the most useful & versatile on the market. Designed to give you a practical selection of straight router bits to get you through the most common routing applications. The bits included in this router bit set can be used for routing mortise joints, plywood dados, surface planning rough stock & much more.

01-690
This mortise bit with downshear is ideal for routing 3/4" wide grooves with no splintered top edge, even in difficult veneered plywood.

01-817B
This is a good downshear bit for rabbet cutting and surface planning rough stock to thickness. Will also produce a fray-free top surface for tenon cutting. The top bearing kit is a bonus feature for doing perfect pattern template work.

06-690B
We've mounted a top bearing on our Super-Duty flush trim bit for extra versatility. With this cutter you can follow a template on either side of your workpiece and always be cutting with the grain for a great finish. The 3/4" cutting diameter and the downshear action ensure a smooth cut.

This solid carbide straight bit has a 7/32" (.219") cutting diameter and is perfect for making dado cuts when using undersized 1/4" plywood. No more rattle when making doors or shelves, get the perfect fit with this router bit.

This straight bit has a 23/32" (.719") cutting diameter for perfect dado's using 3/4" veneered plywood. The downshear feature of this bit leaves a fray-free surface on the top of your material and does a much nicer job than similar bits without a shear angle.
